Life happens and brings people together in such magical ways. . .I am a strong believer in the statement "everything happens for a reason"  And this post makes it true yet again in my life.  Many years ago a spent my Wednesdays thru Saturday nights photographing the Seattle music scene.  Last Friday a couple of the DJ's I used to photograph got together for a little reunion show and I just had to go see/hear them.  Their set did not go on till almost 1am and in the meantime I was just being the social person I am and striking up conversations with new friends and old.  I happened to meet this guy David and he mentioned he was getting married.  Of course my ears perked up since I love weddings and I had to know his love story.  I asked when the big day was and he said Thursday so my heart began to break knowing he most likely had a wedding photographer.  BUT, to my surprise he did not.  It was just going to be a little weeding at the courthouse and friends were going to snap a few shots.  I told him that's fine, but this was his and his brides wedding and he needed fantastic pics which I knew I could capture through telling their wedding story with my images.  So, we scheduled the shoot!  I was excited, David was happy and his Bride was going to be even happier! 5 days later (last Thursday) I meet the sweet couple and their close family and friends to capture their special day! David and Zarminay you really are a sweet couple and I am so happy to have met both of you! Zarminay I hope these images bring a smile to your heart and I'm happy to have captured such wonderful memories that you can hold on to forever and share with your family from afar.  Now, I've been a photographer professionally for 24 years but I had never photographed a wedding in a courthouse but I was up for the challenge.. . and I'm thrilled with my results.  Enjoy!
